January 2010
- Happy NEW YEAR!!
- What a fantastic start we've had to 2010. Boston the first CH Show of the year and both our dogues are qualified for Crufts 2011. Taurus placed 3rd in a very strong Open male class. And at just 2yrs old we are very proud. Zuri is BACK and Better than ever. She won the post grad bitch and then went on to take Reserve Best Bitch at just 18months old! Were very proud of them both.
Winter 2009
- We have had many questions asked "have you stopped showing, when will Taurus be back out, When is Zuri entering the ring again" amd now to lay all this to rest. We took a few months out of the ring to produce our next generation Show Team. 2010 will see us revist the Bullmastiff ring but also bring back out our TOP MALE Jnr CH Jerivindi Taurus at Guardmoore JW08, and the Stunning Jerivindi Temptress with Guardmoore (zuri) along with some new Additions. We have enjoyed the rest and dogs have enjoyed being much loved mucky pets. We look forward to this new year and can only hope we will be as successful as in 2009.
Thank you to all our friends and family for their continued support and of course to each and every judge who has thought so highly of our beloved dogs.
Taurus remains available on SELECT Stud to approved bitches. And we have some exciting plans in place with our overseas friends.

- Taurus takes BEST OF BREED and Working Group 1 at Peterborough Open Show. A huge thank you to Sarah Hattrell and Mr John Swinge for their kind comments and fantastic critiques
June 2009
- June sees the start of a new venture. Guardmoore Professional Handling. Our first full boarder for the 2009/10 show season will be Shae a wonderful DDB Male. See more via the link on the left - Handled By Us
- Fantastic Day at Southern Counties - Taurus our Top Male came 2nd in Open Dog and then went on to take Reserve Best Dog under Australian Judge Nellie Abela.
May 2009
- May saw a pretty quiet month for us here at Guardmoore. We took the time to recharge our batteries from a wonderful 1st quarter.
April 2009
- Working & Pastoral Breeds Championship Show sees our TOP MALE Taurus win Best of Breed and Group 4 - Making him the youngest ever dogue and the only english bred dogue to be placed in a group at just 18 months old! A huge thank you to Jill Peak our Breed Judge, and John McManus the group judge.
- Easter Weekend Bonanza. Good Friday saw us up at Newark for the Eastwood Open Show - Taurus took Best of Breed and Group 3. Easter Sunday back up to Newark again and under Alex Gunn, Taurus took Best of Breed and Group 2! thank you to all judges who thought so highly of Taurus.
- First show of the month and Zuri's back out after her season. Under Malcolm Smith Taurus was placed 2nd in the Open class. And Zuri won Best AVNSC Puppy and then went on to take Puppy Group 1! Her 3rd Group win. We had some fantastic comments from our judge and thank him for thinking so highly of our dogues.

January 2009
- Happy New Year to all, and already we have some exciting news. The first show of the year and Zuri's first outing. Both our dogues were entered in SWECA open show and Guardmoore took the top spots with them. Taurus was awarded BOB and Zuri at 6 months and 1 day took Best Puppy, RBOB and Puppy Group 1! And was in what Martin Phillips called one of the best line ups for BPIS ever. Were so proud of both of them,
- January was a very special month for us. Zuri our new addition has had the best start you could wish for in the show ring. She's won 2 PUPPY GROUPS! been placed in every puppy group she's been in. Has recieved Best Puppy at Each Show and Qualified for Crufts 2010. Taurus our special boy has begun his assult on Open Dog Class. And at 16 months he has won Open Dog 4 times. Gained a few more BOB's and also qualified for Crufts 2010.
December 2008
- For the SECOND Year Running Guardmoore have once again been crowned as having the TOP PUPPY at Redbridge Ringcraft. We are very proud to keep this title in our kennel and can only hope for the same again for 2009
November 2008
- What a November we have had. We took our special boy to the Amesterdam All Winners Show and was blown away with the results. Taurus picked up his final point for his Champion Title, and was also crowned Junior Winner 2008, Along with that he gets a CAC. We are so very proud of Taurus and what we as a show kennel have achieved with him and also a very very huge thank you to Annette Wijnsouw for her kind words and placings today.
September 2008
- We took our first trip over to the French Clubmatch with Taurus. He done us and his breeders very proud indeed. He was against 15 other males and won a place in the Ring of Honour. He then went on to take 4th Place. Not an easy thing for an unknown kennel to do. Well done Taurus !!!
- Taurus ends his UK Puppy career on a high. Under Tom Johnston Taurus took his 15th Best Puppy and his 20th 1st Place. What a way to end a very sucessful 6 months in the ring.
August 2008
- August finished on a high for Guardmoore. Taurus our very sucessful boy won his first Junior CAC in Rotterdam. Meaning he's 1/3 of the way to gaining his Dutch Youth Champion Title.
- Bank Holiday weekend - Taurus does the double. We done 2 shows in 2 days and Taurus took best puppy and Group 2 in both. We'd like to thank all judges especially Steve Myring for his very kind words. Taurus really does pull it out of the bag for the group judging, he was on top form all weekend. These wins make him the undisputed top winning DDB this year. To have amassed 18 1st places and 8 group wins in 5 months in their first year off import is a huge achievement.
- 16th Aug - Our special boy Taurus has really taken the show world by storm. He's still only a mear 10 months old but today he has just taken his 16th 1st place, his 12th Best Puppy, and his 4th Reserve Best of Breed. As far as we know he is the only ddb in the UK to have achieved this number of wins in 2008. We can't thank all the judges enough for thinking so highly of Taurus and making us very very proud of him. He is a true ambassador of the breed.
- 3rd Aug Taurus takes his 11th BEST PUPPY of his career under Gail Hussey. Taurus also took his 6th Group win buy taking Puppy Group 2. We are so very proud of what Taurus has achieved as he is still only 10 months old. Thank you to Gail for thinking so highly of our boy.
July 2008
- Taurus has done it again by winning BEST PUPPY IN SHOW under Peter Jolley. We attended the Milton Keynes open show on the 20th July, and Taurus showed his socks off. He won 1st AVNSC Junior, Best AVNSC Puppy, then took Puppy Group 1 and to top it all off won BEST PUPPY IN SHOW. I can't thank Peter Jolley enough. Not only for giving us this fantastic award but for the very kind words about Taurus. We truely are very proud he's made himself firmly at home with the Guardmoore Kennel - Critique and pictures will be printed in due course
- Taurus has started off July with bang. At Peterborough Open show Taurus won his class, and also took BEST OF BREED (his 2nd) and his 8th BEST PUPPY award. Taurus was also shortlisted in the working group, and took Puppy Group 3. This takes his tally of 1st place wins to 10! We are so proud of what Taurus has achieved. Thank you to both judges today.

- Taurus wins big at Windsor, Under top judge Mrs Hathaway taurus won his class and also took Best Puppy! He was a true star,

- Taurus Wipes the floor at SWECA Open Show - Taurus at 8 months old does us very proud at sweca open show. He wins his class in Dogue De Bordeaux, Is awarded Best Of Breed, Best Puppy In Breed. We then go onto the working groups, where Taurus picks up Working Group 3, and then takes Puppy Group 3 to complete his day. All this and he's still only 8 months old!

May 2008
Taurus wins his class at the first ever DDB Limit Show!! - Fantastic 4 take the top spots in the first ever DDB Club Limit Show. Taurus took 1st in minor puppy dog, followed closely by litter brother Zac in 2nd place, Zula took 1st in minor puppy bitch, followed closely by Devon in 2nd place. Zula also went on to take best puppy bitch.

Taurus wins his 5th Best Puppy of his showing career! Under breed specialist Mr A Bicknell.
April 2008
Taurus has now qualified for CRUFTS at 7 months old. He qualified at W.E.L.K.S Championship show, under breed specialist Mr A Bicknell. We can't thank him enough for thinking so highly of our little boy.
Myself and Taurus won Best Puppy Handler at Redbridge Ringcraft! We beat 4 other fantastic puppies to gain this excellent award.

Taurus our DDB has started his showing career. And what a start he's had. He has 2 best puppies, a Reserve Best of Breeds and a Puppy Group 4 under his belt. All at 6 months old!

Lani starts 2008 show year with a bang.
At her first show of the year Lani won Best AV NSC Working Puppy! It was her last puppy show of 2008, and what a way to end her puppy career.
December 2007
Lani was awarded Best Show Puppy 2007 at Redbridge Ringcraft. What a year it has been. There have been many highs and a few lows. For our first year together showing I'm really proud of her.
